Justin Martello, MD, is the movement disorders and focused ultrasound Director at ChristianaCare Neurology Specialists, DE, USA, as well as a clinical assistant professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, PA, USA. He received his medical degree, neurology residency, and movement disorders fellowship from the University of Maryland, MD.

Dr. Martello currently holds positions at AAN as a representative for the AAN’s Registry Subcommittee and Chair of the Movement Disorders Quality Measures Workgroup, and he is a board member of the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area and the host for their quarterly webinars and annual symposium. In addition, Dr. Martello is the host for the ChristianaCare Annual Parkinson’s Disease Symposium, and he gives lectures throughout Delaware on behalf of the Parkinson’s Disease Support Group and for the University of Delaware Physical Therapy Program. Dr. Martello is also a board member of the Parkinson’s Foundation: Midatlantic region.

Melissa Pacheco is the Movement Disorders & Focused Ultrasound Coordinator and Senior Office Assistant to Dr. Martello in the Neurology Department, bringing over five years of dedicated service to the team. She has worked closely with Dr. Martello for four years and plays a crucial role in the new Focused Ultrasound project. In this capacity, Melissa guides patients through the process, coordinating all necessary imaging and scheduling the procedures. Outside of her professional life, Melissa is a devoted mother to four boys and has been happily married for 15 years. Her family loves spending every weekend at their beach house, to enjoy the sand and surf.
